Welcome to The Book Critic (together with its affiliates, “The Book Critic,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the services, website, and software provided by The Book Critic (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree on behalf of yourself and any household members or others who use the Service under your account (“you” or “your”) to be legally bound by this Agreement, as well as our Privacy Policy and any additional guidelines or rules posted on the Service.
We reserve the right to revise this Agreement at any time in our sole discretion by posting the updated version on our website. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.

- Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service or its content without prior written consent;
- Use automated systems (including bots, scrapers, or data-mining tools) to access the Service;
- Post false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
We may suspend or terminate your access at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms.
2. User Content
2.1 Responsibility. You are solely responsible for any content you submit, upload, or make available on the Service (“User Content”). You agree not to post material that is illegal, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing on intellectual property, obscene, threatening, or otherwise objectionable.

2.3 Removal. We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to review, monitor, and remove User Content at our sole discretion.
2.4 No Liability. The Book Critic assumes no responsibility for any User Content posted by you or others, and shall not be liable for any damages resulting from such content.
3. Intellectual Property
All content and materials provided on the Service (excluding User Content), including but not limited to text, images, graphics, design, trademarks, logos, and software (“The Book Critic Content”), are owned or licensed by us and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on The Book Critic Content without prior written consent.
4. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by The Book Critic. We assume no responsibility for the content, policies, or practices of such third parties. Accessing any third-party website is at your own risk.
5. Termination
We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, notice, or liability. Upon termination, the rights and licenses granted to you under this Agreement will immediately cease.
6. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Book Critic, its affiliates, employees, contractors, officers, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:
- Your access to or use of the Service;
- Your User Content;
- Your violation of this Agreement;
- Your infringement of any third-party rights.
7. Disclaimers of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE BOOK CRITIC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. You agree that your use of the Service is at your sole risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE BOOK CRITIC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
